Mr. Harvey Notable Cases and Results:

In the 2003 case of Feltmeier v. Feltmeier, Mr. Harvey represented a victim of serial domestic abuse in the Illinois Supreme Court and successfully argued that victims of systematic domestic abuse should have the right and the ability to sue for damages. The unprecedented Court ruling in his client’s favor has been and is reported in books and legal journals nationwide to this day, and has provided victims of long-term abuse with a remedy that had never yet existed previously in Illinois nor in many other states. Due to Mr. Harvey’s talent, persistence and dedication, domestic and other abuse victims now have an opportunity for monetary compensation, and abusers have a potent deterrent.
